Harlem & Moscow

In 1932, a 31-year-old Langston Hughes traveled with a group of Harlem Renaissance artists from New York to Moscow in order to make a communist propaganda film. We follow Langston Hughes on the trip he thought would change the world as he struggles to smooth tension between his group of Black intellectuals and their ignorant but determined allies, the Soviets.
